I am a political scientist interested in the challenges that financial globalization introduces for democratic regimes. As an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Political Economy at the University of Exeter, my research agenda covers topics such as the politics of post-neoliberalism, the macroeconomic effects of financial liberalization, the role of State-owned banks, the impact of creative industries, and the policy preferences of populist parties.
My articles appeared in journals like Development and Change, Government and Opposition, Review of International Political Economy, and Third World Quarterly.
